I have always thought this was very strange. When a pet gets close to my face and is being affectionate it makes me feel dizzy and i can't see straight. I thought it was only cats and dogs that did this to me, but recently my chameleon made me feel this way too. Please tell me this is normal! I am not into animals like that!

So my question is, when u feel that way physically, how r u feeling emotionally? I mean, r u scared, or thrilled to be enjoying the sweet love of a llittle creature (and no, smart asses, i do not mean like THAT)?
I guess i am wondering if its some deep unconscious anxiety or something. I mean, if you do not have allergies, its psychological, right?
It only happened once with the chameleon and it was much more subtle than when it happens with a dog or cat. It is an affectionate feeling that usually happens when the animal is kissing or sniffing me out of affection, like being tickled or something. Or kind of like the awkward feeling women get from breastfeeding, but idk if you would know what that feels like at all. Emotionally, I just don't like it because I don't understand it, probably the same reason many women choose to quit breastfeeding. If it was a common thing for people to experience, it probably wouldn't bother me so much. I have sometimes wondered if that's how i'm supposed to feel when being affectionate with a person because, generally, i have no special sensations like, say, when i'm kissing.
