Is it normal that I ALWAYS have straight hair?

I have very long hair, blondish, completely straight and boring. People say it is so nice but it is so boring and it doesnt go curly or wavy at ALL. not even with water, not even when i try to curl it, not even after braiding it, not even in the hairdresser, it lasts very few minutes. does this happen to anybody else?

Some people just have stubborn hair i guess. Mines just knotty. Very very knotty. I used to give myself 'mermaid hair'. I was a kid ok. After the shower I would put it in a bunch of little braids at night then take them out in the morning and viola! Mermaid hair :)

My hair is stubbornly straight. Although if I braid it wet and let it dry that way, the result is quite comical.

But there are different cuts you can get to add texture and body to your hair.

Try adding some layers in it to give it some more body, it might help give you more of a wave
