One time I realized that it's easier to pee (when you're on certain things) if I look up. Now, it's a habit to look up in order to start peeing. I COULD pee without looking up, but it just doesn't feel right. Normal?

Some push the flush before peeing (the sound of water makes it easier for them to start)
Some DO look up (I have no idea why I have noticed this, but only now I agree I have seen others do this)
Some hold on, some don't (no I don't look, I've just heard this)
I've also heard some only go when they sit down.
In my view its just about embarrassment and getting your thoughts clear. If you are looking down its like you are saying, 'come on hurry up, I haven't got all day to come here and pee you know!' Maybe you're highly stressed, or maybe you are very busy doing other things. No time to pee.
All in all, I say reasonably normal.
You seem to be talking about men, though, so I'm still thinking if it's normal for females.
But thank you, I do feel a little better about this odd habit.
This most happens when I pee standing up. I am conscience of this at public urinals because I don't want to look like a weirdo.
