Why are we still supporting these guys? why dont we round em up and shoot'em'up? if you think they deserve chances, why dont you invite them to live with you??

So as soon as a person becomes a drug addict we should shoot them... Does this mean we should go blow away all the star bucks customers? How about going down town and opening fire at all the bar patrons? Maybe start blasting all of the pot heads that live completely normal lives and like to relax at night! My mother was a hardcore alcoholic and pill popper for years, now she is clean and sober for 7 years and works as an RN. Should I just have blasted her?

Who is the judge of who is an addict and who isn't, and who is the judge of which drugs are okay and which aren't. These are human beings you are talking about, and they deserve the respect and help with their problems that you would want in the reverse situation.

Who are you to judge who lives and dies?

I genuinely think this post is the most disgusting thing I've seen on IIN, and that's saying something!!

read about safe injection clinics in vancouver. if the reports are accurate, then i think they are doing a lot of good. we need something more progressive than the war on drugs, because it isn't working. i suppose you would have killed iggy pop and john frusciante and edgar allen poe and all these people that have created great works. some of them are clean now, either way, they have helped people despite their addictions.

Yeah. Ever had a glass of wine? Alcoholic! Shoot you in the face. Ever eaten a cake? Obese! Shoot you in the face. Ever been unemployed for more than one second? Drain on society! Shoot you in the face. Ever driven a vehicle? Usurper of world resources! Shoot you in the face.

Until you live your life in a cave, growing your own produce in a sustainable way, treating your illness with the herbs you yourself have grown, carrying a responsible amount of water from a stream, perhaps you should learn to be a bit more tolerant of anyone who isn't quite so perfect as you.

They don't effect you, in the natural order all humans are equally worthless. Every one of us does no good for the world, only ourselves. You work to earn money for yourself, you kill to feed yourself, you breed to make a family for yourself. The fact that drug addicts kill themselves quicker may even make them better human beings in the long run.

Youre just an innocent son of a bitch. That cant put itself at others place. There are people out there that want to die cause their live sucks too much shit, and not that they want to be anything you despise, they just think "fuck everything cause its not worth it"... Obviously they dont need your fuckn ass prick attitude on top of all. They need something or someone thatll show them something else, something that makes it worth...

no, unfortunately im talking from the ground up. its selfish to think "my lifes fucked up" and then that as an excuse to take drugs or consume huge quantities of alcohol. really, its like trying to educate cheese.

No. YOU are selfish, friend. You just have no idea how some people are living in hell. And if you think you know, youre just more ignorant than I thought. If you think that trying to help people in pain and misery like them is like educate cheese, well Im letting you know that trying to explain something as simple as compassion and comprehension for those in need to a close-minded cold heart is actualy worst than educate cheese.

we are all living in some kind of hell, its how we deal with it that counts. Compassion - thats wanting the BEST for someone. Surely its not compassion to support a habit that causes ill health, crime and dysfunction? And, comprehension of what, exactly? I dont need to be an addict to see what they do, in all its intricity.

I am totolly against drugs , I understand were you are coming from scept im on the gate and think their is infact some poeple who can change but some are too far long gone to ever help but some are to far gone to help sadly ... but yah drugs are horrible poeple shouldnt be doing drugs on top of the fact its illegle I too agree with 1776 as we should give them a chance to try and get their lifes streight before we forsake them completely .alot of them dont care and will never clean up and those I know are a waste becuase they aernt willing to try but I think some of them do want to try and we should give them a chance .

i am a housing support officer. i deal with addicts every day. i see them laugh in the face of people who offer them chances. they lie, they cheat, they CHOOSE to get high because in their mind its the easiest option. i
there is also a whole underworld, a community, related to addiction that these people adhere to and buy into.

I realize that and I know those people are completely worthless in helping at that piont .. my family infact is against drugs and I so am I yes drugs are disgusting and so is the result thats why prevention is the best option . I totolly get what your saying its really bad " and I understand what you mean " .

I totolly know what you mean we have alot of the same issues that you do thier , speceilly the school crises and poeple not being able to get collage money ecs .I totally agree with you I hate drugs too I am totolly agianst it but I infact know a few druggys that I will not snitch out but I try to encourage them that it is bad for them and some of them cleaned up or stopped I know poeple who started early ages and said you know what I am not going to do this anymore . So I kindve dont feel super strong as to killing them , but I see your piont as they eventually kill themselves on the street at a piont anyways and I can see you proboly bene affected personly by something a druggy did and I dont doubt that I am infact all for the no drug campiagn . as they teach it in schools .they tell us its so bad for you and to make posters presenting the effects on it as assignments from the day were young and this has proven to slow down the amount of poeple starting drugs becuase it is publisised how very bad it is .

i agree . the chances are already there, we do a lot for these folk in the west. but unfortunately we cant discriminate, and therefore the people who have no serious intention of quitting all pass through the same procedures and milk it for all its worth.

Whoa...thats a bit too far. I mean I'm not okay with drug addicts. I get annoyed by the fact that they turn to drugs to ease their pain but you shouldn't kill them! You'd be considered worse than them.
