Since young, I don really celebrate birthdays. I don't really know why but I don't find it necessary to celebrate. I get pissed when people kept asking for presents on their birthday. Lame much. -.- at least in my opinion. Personally, I don't really ask for presents. I just treat it as a normal day and doesn't require much celebration. I even told my friends motto get any presents for me as I find it not necessary. Is it normal?

I understand that society encoourages people to hype up their birthday until it's as glitzy and as over-the-top as a casino in Vegas, but it's just as acceptable to tone down your anniversary: whatever society says.
When I turned 18, my husband wanted to throw a huge party and celebrate, celebrate, celebrate - but I said 'no' and settled for a spa day...which, although I enjoyed it, I refused the year after and just spent my 19th with my twin boys, who had just been born. And that's the way it's been since - no hype, no party, no clubbing, no alcohol. Just something that suits my preferences better.
And guess what? I don't like presents either! To be honest, they kind of annoy me - look at all that money spent when it could go to people who actually need it more than me!
So your not only completely and utterly normal, you're also damned sensible!
Enjoy your birthday-less day!
xx
