So yeah, i don't like to call people by their name, i just say "dude", or i find another way to get their attention. I only say my good friends's names out loud. I don't know why, it just doesn't feel natural to me..

Me too! It can get awkward when I need to get someone's attention but I'll avoid it ad much as possible just cos it feels weird. I don't seem to have this problem with kids, or with saying mum or grandma, though.
