I used to cut myself b/c i was depressed - not just lines, but i would write stuff or like carve pictures of what i was feeling into my skin. I stopped almost a year ago b/c i don't want a/o to see the scars so i started getting laser treatment to remove the scars (they were really bad and not going away). but recently i really want to cut again but i stop myself cuz i know i'll regret it. so instead, i use permanent markers to draw/write what i want to cut and look at it whenever i get down. it only stays on for a few days but better than nothing. is it normal?
