I think you're too quick to pull out the sociopath card.
Sounds to me like the OP enjoys the rush they get from confrontation - perhaps it's a break from what's presumably an unfulfilling routine and maybe a break from feeling depressed. Anger can be exciting; it gives you that adrenaline rush, that momentary excitement. It makes you FEEL something strongly, something other than sadness or numbness.
Making someone else angry can also be a way of emotionally connecting with someone, even if it isn't in a positive way.
That's my theory anyway, although the post is too short to confidently evaluate the OP's psychological state even in an amateur capacity.
