A rational person can appreciate aesthetic beauty that is non-sexual. That's a beautiful vase! That's a beautiful dog! That's a beautiful child! We don't all think with our dicks and vaginas; I don't want to fuck that vase, dog or child.

It sounds to me like your girlfriend is reacting this way out of jealousy. You're calling another girl beautiful and she's hurt by it. It's a fairly immature way to act, lashing out at you just because of this, but lots of people do it.

Either that or she is one of those people that doesn't think adults (specifically men) can appreciate beauty without sexuality. She assumes you want to have sex with her if you think she's beautiful.

Yes she's very good looking... but saying how beautiful another girl is to your girlfriend is a very good way to make her upset regardless if how old the other girl is. It is okay to appreciate a young girl's beauty, but telling your girlfriend about it is obviously going to make her jealous. I'm sure you'd feel the same way if she kept telling you about how good-looking a 15 year old boy was. It doesn't make you a paedo, but it does make you slightly insensitive to your girlfriend's feelings.
