Is it normal that I like all Jonny Depp and Tim Burton's Films/Movies?

For the past 2 years I had been completely obsessed with certain movies that they did together. But I wound up watching them and thinking about them so many times that they lost their magical effect on me. I knew it was time to move on to other interests when I realized that Edward Scissorhands failed to move me emotionally anymore.

I was extremely emotionally attached to the characters that Johnny Depp played in Burton's movies as though they were real people, and I feel a pang of bittersweet sadness in my chest whenever the Depp/Burton team gets mentioned on one of my favorite websites (like this IIN topic), which is inevitable since they just came out with a new movie. It's almost like I'm grieving over the end of an actual relationship.

Sometimes I wish I could get amnesia just so that I could experience the feeling of seeing those movies for the first time and falling in love with them all over again.

Those two get boring after a while.

I like some of his older and original films. I'm tired of him remaking things. I used to like all of his films, but now I only like some of them...

I'm obsessed with Tim Burton to the point that my ribs are completely tattoo'd with a theme of his movies! Jack Skellington, N9ne, a razor for Sweeny Todd, the bat symbol very small worked in there, scissors for Edward scissor hands, James from James and the giant peach, I have stuff from mars attacks, sleepy hallow, and big fish, as well as corpse bride, and Alice and wonderland, Hell i even have a reference to frankenweenie in there... with room to add more for dark shadows and Abe Lincoln vampire hunter

I like Johnny Depp in his older movies (Fear and Loathing, Gilbert Grape, etc) but for some reason I could never get into Tim Burton's movies. Plus, Barnabas is totally ruined in the new Dark Shadows...
