Is it normal that I love hearing someone chew gum?

It brings me pleasure and calms me down when I hear someone chew gum. Yet, I hate hearing someone swallow food, and especially, liquids. That drives me crazy!

…I want to hit people in the face part of their heads when I hear that.

I can't vote because I don't know if it's normal or not. My personal opinion is that it is unusual.

No. And it's also their responsibility to chew with their mouth closed so that you don't have to hear it.
