Is it normal that I still like my friend?

So... hoping I get some replies to this... I'm wanting to see what you all day since what my friends say doesn't seem to help.

It's hard to word!

I was looking at questions about loving your best friend... I'm not quick to jump the gun and say the "L" word because it is a very big deal for me to admit that seeing as we are just friends and she did like me before but I messed up by being overeager.

That was months ago... but she knows I'm still crazy about her and she says she wished she liked me and I really want her to give me another shot but she wants to keep things as friends - I don't get how one day she can give me a shot and kiss me then immediately change everything... but keep me as her closest friend even though she knows it's killing me.

She says shes the best guy I know and she wishes she felt the same - that makes me want to scream "give me another chance"

I know I sound like a sadcase here... feel free to be harsh!

I want to be friends with her but I care about her way too much and we are so close - my friends day I should stop speaking to her but I can't.

So basically... should I keep trying to be friends with this girl that means the world to me? Is it normal that I still like her?

I swear that was like reading my life story right there haha. Man, same thing going on with me. For me, I think it's better to be friends and build off of that because you never know what could happen one time if your just hanging out and she feels a connection towards you. Just play it by day, see if her feelings change over time. Girls don't wanna hear the three words "I love you" they'd much rather hear the three words "your worth it" of she's really worth it you will wait for her forever. Hope this helped man.

yea man i kinda posted this after a 2 hour conversation with her where it all got brought up again and i got shot down again... i dont like the idea of floating around some girl waiting for her to change her mind and continuing to feel like that... but at the same time the idea of stopping hanging around with her is lame when i could just "man up" but thats all easier said than done. but yea thanks for getting back to it!! :D :D

If you really want her, act like you aren't interested anymore and don't act so craxy about her. Girls love it when guys hit on them and everything so if you stop she'll start to get upset that you aren't, want to talk to you more, she might flirt to gwt you to start liking her agin. It works even though it is stupid and you don't want to stop talking to them, just slow down and don't act like she is your main priority because then she will really realize what you meant to her.

yeaaa about that: i feel like if i done that shed just stop talking to me, which means to wrap it all up i should probably stop bothering... c'est la vie =/
