the whole line "i love him but am not in love him" is a load of crap, just to point that out :) it just a sugar coated way of saying, i don't love him.

but yeah, maybe it was because you could admire him from afar and he could be anything you wanted to be and then when you have him close up he isnt all you thought he'd be.

That's absolutely normal. Its basically the 'I love this guy, but I'm not truly in love with him'. It happened to me last year when I finally won the girl I had been chasing for almost 3 years. I was mad in love with her but when we started dating I just...didn't like her like I used to. It also could be that maybe in your mind you loved him but now that you have him its like 'if something happens, will I lose him as my friend?'

Completely know how u feel. I used to get totally obsessed with certain guys and the thrill of liking them and trying to impress them. But once they like you back it's a completely different situation. I used to think I was lesbian or somthing, because i was never attracted to any guys that i acctually had a chance with.
