Me too. I even use the Flight Simulator version, although I keep crashing the damn plane. I used to be addicted to worldcityphotos.org but I like the interactivity of Google maps.

I even use it to check in on places I've visited in Scotland, England, and Wales to see how they've changed or to see how well I remember. And foreign countries are great. I've spent hours wandering around NYC. My last one was a couple of weeks ago when I spent about two hours in Iceland. In fact, I'm due another play so after I've stopped asking questions (and before the men's tennis final comes on), I think I'll have a bit of a wander around India and Pakistan.

Same here. There is actually this game I heard about, takes a couple of hours and solid internet connection. Basically you go to some random country and click on streetview. Once you're on streetview you try to find the nearest airport. I had a friend who played it and it took him somewhere around 4hrs.

Have you ever googled directions from Seattle to Honolulu? Someone at Google has a sense of humor.

I love maps! I once had a job where I had to draw them. This was before technology made them more accessible. And I still get paid to play with Google maps, it's great!

Oh yeah, completely normal. Some people may say its kinda weird but it's not. I'm on google maps a lot just exploring, looking at airports and interesting places. It's great!

I prefer Google Sky to Google Earth. Somehow, it's more interesting and I've found so many strange things on there!
