Is it normal that I want a zombie apocalypse to happen?

I often fantasize about zombie apocalypses. I think this would be a great way to decrease the population, get rid of the bullshit American government, and test my survival skills. I fantasize about having a valid excuse to go around shooting people. I think people are so stupid and media fed that they are pretty much zombies anyways.

Do you mind if I ask why?

I just like the idea of survival. I think it will show our true nature, how we really are, and how far we would go to survive.

I think it would show how humanity really is.

That would be interesting. You can get a idea of what they are like, just by seeing them react to natural disasters and power outages.

Real trauma always causes real reactions and they're seldom good. People are seldom good.
We love to gain and destroy.

Well, let's be honest. The world is a mess. We are destroying things because we can. I think destroying things because we need to is more acceptable than destroying things because we want to.

If one were to happen, you'd get nuked like everyone else. Not saying it is a bad thing, though. So, you would not have much time to do anything. You see the way humans act when a storm hits and the power goes out. They start panicking, murdering, looting, and raping. It would be utter chaos. You think it would be like a movie or a video game, but it wouldn't.

If it were like a game or movie, I would like something like that to a degree.
If I could team up with someone awesome and we could fight them together it would be cool. If someone dies I can rewind or restart.

I agree. I remember that I would always want a zombieland type scenario but after thinking about it I realized that a post-apocalyptic world wouldn't be like the movies. Most likely everyone around me will die. The only reason I ever wanted to live in that type of world was so I can have an excuse to shoot people and live in the moment.

Everyone would be running everywhere. If you got somewhere safe, with food, weapons, and medical supplies, you would still have to worry about natural disasters (especially without communication), animals, larger groups of badder people than you, and -certainly- going crazy. I promise you'd go crazy. You would crumble like a cookie.

you'd be the first to die, and it wouldnt even be by zombies, you fall down some stairs, or crash the car or something, it be god's way of trolling you

A zombie apocalypse sounds great in the mind but it is not a video game. I don't want a zombie apocalypse, I just want to shoot a gun. If the world was overrun by zombies everybody you love will probably die. On top of all that you'll be competing with others to survive, it will not be like Zombieland. I can understand where you're coming from, but really a zombie apocalypse is one of those thoughts that just sounds funner in your head. My suggest would be to just go to the nearest training area and shoot a gun, cause really I think the only reason that anybody really wants to a zombie apocalypse is so he can have an excuse to shoot stuff and cause havoc.

Have you see Shawn of the Dead? They weren't really prepared and lost most of their comrades to the zombies! Ask yourself this, are you or aren't you really prepared?!
