Do you use it as a comfort mechanism? Colours can have interesting effects on us. For instance, if you where blue shades or eat in a blue room, it'll decrease your appetite. While red will increase it. I don't know if this is the case here, though. I have to play music and read books to use the loo. We all probably have our toilet rituals.

Hilarious but not normal! Maybe it has something to do with people not being able to see your eyes/ read your expression when you are on the toilet that helps make you feel more comfortable! Not that there are people in there watching you go but you know what I mean, the mind works in mysterious ways!

Yes!! I always found it easier to take a dump in a dark bathroom. We had an interior bathroom (no windows, I mean) and if you left the light off it was pitch dark, I used to do that all the time. It really stimulated things. I found out by accident, my brother actually tried to prank me by turning the light off while I was in there.
