I'm going to be 21 next month, but I still feel the same as when I was 16-17. I'm more mature of course, but in my essence I feel exactly the same, even to an extent where I still feel awkward around some adults. I always feel like they're playing some sort of fake role, like they're always pretending. They're too serious to be real! I'm studying a career but I feel it lacks relevance, as well as jobs. They're important but they shouldn't be the center of our lives, they're just a tiny aspect of it. Friendship and enjoying yourself is more important; we've only got one life. I mainly feel adults take everything just too seriously (themselves, specially).

enjoy your life!
I'm 24, and I didn't start to feel like an adult until I had my kids...and even then, sometimes it feels as though I'm still waiting to mature!
I think the greatest gift of all is to be youthful, even if it isn't always easy. Youngsters see the world in a different way - sometimes I wonder if more of us were like kids, we'd live in a better world.
Good luck, and feel free to ask any advice!

on a side note you should really read the novella called "The Little Prince"
when whe whent camping together they taught my friends little sister how to play with fire. great parenting.
