So due high blood pressure, i had to change birth control pills from Alesse to Mirconor(mini pill). and for the last 2 months or so. i have been getting my period every 2 weeks(pretty accurately). Just for my own peace of mind, i took and at home pregnancy test, which came up negative. Does anyone else have experience with this, or its just relevant to the medication change??

FYI this change did not happen immediately after switching pills, it started a couple months later

I usually don't get mine for 6 to sometimes 10 weeks... I don't really think either is normal. Yours could be cause by the medication. Switch to all natural medicine if possible and see if that helps. If not, than see a doctor.

Yes, my periods came every two weeks for a few years. I was like 13-16. At first, my mom worried, and had me really watch my nutrition, try to gain weight, and so on. Gradually the time between periods grew longer, and now, I am at about 27 days, a normal enough cycle.

Well, birth control pills are supposed to regulate your period. But it really depends on the person. I've always had a normal cycle, never skipped or got it early. But that's just me. Everyone is different.

That's not good, you should seek a doctor out as the medication is probably and most deffinately interferring with your hormones.

You should definitely tell your gynecologist. It's probably due to the new meds, and she may change it again. But it may be a sign of infection (or worse, unfortunately). Good luck!:)
