Me either, but don't sweat it. There's no deadline that says when you HAVE to ready for sex. I'm 19 (20 in a month) and am very not ready for sex...and proud of it, too, because I know I don't have to worry about the possible consequences that come with it. And if it ever comes a time that you will be ready, you'll be ready. Don't rush it. And maybe you can find a guy that's willing to wait. Just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean you have to give it up.

You're ready when you're ready. There's no right time to be ready to have sex, and nobody has a right to expect you to have sex with them, even if you're in a relationship.

If you're really concerned, though, or if this fear comes from a bad experience, I suggest that you talk to a therapist about it. If you're in college, you should probably be able to see a counsellor for free through your school.

It's okay, I'm a 20 year old virgin and I don't have a problem with it. I just haven't found the right guy. Sex isn't the most important thing in life. It's only important if you're trying to reproduce, basically.

You're not required by any standards to have sex at a certain age. The choice is 100% yours and nobody else's to make for you. If you do get to the point in a relationship where sex is brought up, you can decline it fair and square. If he opposes, stand your ground or dump him if it comes to it. If he is fine with your feelings, he's a keeper.

It seems like half the people on IIN didn't loose their virginity until they were like 20 something, and the other half are still virgins.

It's actually kind of creepy, and makes me feel weird for having sex at a normal age.

You should never do something you're not ready for, but maybe you should see if there's any underlying issues as to why you're so afraid of sex.
