She's only a small child so if he's on the couch why can't she sleep on a chair? Or give her the couch and he could sleep on the floor? Or he could swap with his brother while she's there if she needs to go to sleep earlier. This is just a little haphazard and your child needs routine - regardless of any potential risk to her!
