Is it normal that my palm hurts when my feeling get hurt?

Oh my Gosh!! I can't believe I'm not the only one! :) I get that a lot... Always in my left palm... So strange... :)

Have you ever looked into any reflexology charts? I know this is a little different type of healing, but it may have an answer for you. I know that an area near where you're describing supposedly has connections to the stomach. Thus, you may have nervous anxiety and most people get a 'heart in the pit of the stomach feeling' and you may be getting a corresponding hand pain.

That's weird beacuse the same thing happens to me but on the vains of my wrist. I get a throbbing pain on both of my wrists after getting my feelings hurt real bad.

Yup and every time it happens I feel like maybe I should cut my wrists so the pain will go away, but instead I just put pressure

It happened to me too, though i feel pain body-wide, in my hands, lips and neck. It's like emotional pain so intense that is becomes physical pain. I have no idea why it's felt in the hands though, might be because there are millions of nerve endings in your fingers, making them one of the most sensitive parts of your body. The intensity of the emotional pain might not be normal. I'd ask a doctor about it if it were to bother me often.

This happens to me all the time !! its only in my left palm . It hurts so bad that i have to massge it =)

MercedesBenz- that sounds just like me, I get the pit in my stomach feeling and I'm always very nervously anxious. Wow so weird.

I have had this thing happened whenever I am deeply hurt emotionally. I only feel it when something has stuck straight to my heart. I have had it my entire life. I am extremely sensitive. I have always wore my emotions on my sleeves. I very in touch with my emotions. When this happens it usually shows me that I really love or care about something more than I thought I did. It happens in both palms. It stay for awhile. Eventually it does go away. But when it occurs it feelings like a gentle sharp needle through my palm. I cry very softly as well. This completely wears me out. Emotional & physically. It is nice to know I am not the only one. Wow.

I was just researching this, Each time I remember that something I went through, I get a severe itch in my left palm, like I almost need to punch it hard and it's still not enough, a piercing pain actually....it's good to know I'm not the only one..is it an energetic spot maybe? like something associated with the meridian channels and acupuncture therapy and all this?
and when I think about it even if such therapies exist...what's the use of the treatment when you already suffered a hideous spiritual/emotional disease...where's the substance and moral of the whole thing? at the end, when something "good" finally happens, you'll want to forget, move on, live as if that shitty thing never happened, only with the conception of "hey I was not lucky enough and now it's over"...such an ironic existence..lol so here I am venting out on a web I just got introduced to..and yup I get the throbbing itching feeling in my wrists as well...not to overlook that feeling of a burning incision in my chest..but my palm? today is the day I noticed and remembered that it's not the first time, it;s weird

its called the crucifixion syndrome, the curse of the martyrs, can be annoying
