My sister's boyfriend lost his job last year, and my sister is a nurse. She works very hard and deserves every penny she gets, and since he has lost his job, she has had to work more shifts to help him pay his car payment and some of his expenses (they live together btw). Whenever I go over, he is playing his Xbox and when someone asks my sister if he is looking for a job she just says he has bad luck.
He won't do dishes unless she pleads with him that she is too tired, he throws parties while she is working 16 hour shifts at the hospital, and I can not believe that he is looking for work. He worked at McDonalds, most jobs he could find would be better than fast food anyway so I don't see why he can't look?
Now, this guy is basically a dick (with a body attached, of course), and I'm sure he has some good qualities, but my sister can't make enough to support the household alone and he won't even do laundry. What the hell gives, do women typically go for men like this? If that's the case, I'd better quit my job soon.

Advise your sister to assert more power in the relationship (if you must) but other than that stay out.
You should not visit their home if you are just going to criticize their lifestyle.
