Is it normal that piercings disgust me?

So, people love getting piercings nowadays.

I think that like nose rings, when people get piercings inside their mouth and stuff like that can make a attractive person really grossen me out.

What do you guys think?

You're entitled to your opinion. I happen to like them. But not all of them and they don't suit everyone.

As long as people get the right piercings for their facial structure and don't get tacky mods done, I think it enhances the natural beauty.

Depends on the quantity and placement, a few hundred rings sticking out of your face for example is hideous. I used to rule out ever getting any but recently I've been considering them. One piercing that definitely disgusts me though is the Prince Albert...it's just wrong.

I don't understand why so many people think it's not normal for you to be turned off by this. I personally find certain piercings attractive, but it's more than normal not to. Just because people don't like your feelings doesn't mean they're abnormal.

How silly.

Yes, it's normal to have preferences. I don't get why you got so many "it's not normal" votes, either. You're not judging people who get piercings; you're only saying that it isn't your thing. That's like getting offended at people who don't think glasses are attractive.

Note: those people are terribly wrong. Glasses are devastatingly attractive!

Ears, ok. Everything else, why fuck up your natural beauty? Same thing with tattoos. I have to laugh when I see someone covered with tats & piercings complain that they only eat organic food because they won't put anything un-natural in their body.

Actually it's completely logical they'd do that. Tattoo's and such don't cause illness in most cases- food slowly kills you.
That won't stop me from eating it, of course. Point is, the logic is there.
