I dont feel like taking part in your schizophrenic break from reality. Instead you take part in mine. Do you know about phantom smells? As in unexplainable smells that just occur sporadically like say the smell of cookies fill your nostrils for no reason at 11am on a random tuesday morning for no reason at all. It could be that in another parallel universe you or someone in your apartment at that moment is baking cookies and somehow the two universes at that moment entangled. Or maybe years ago a baker whos long dead by now used to bake cookies and some how that insignificant fragrance is imprinted in that apartments matrix and is now stuck in a loop like a record for your nose on repeat. Weird, uncalled for and uncomfortable is it not?
I hate phantom smells! They are never what I want to be smelling at the moment. Cookies when i'm hungry, perfume when i'm lonely, sunscreen in the winter. Such a tease.
