Is it normal that straightening products never work for me?

I use a straightener. However, sometimes I'm really tempted to buy those straightening products or anti-frizz products. They are usually applied to wet hair and after that, you blow dry it. However, they never work for me, even sometimes they work for others. If I don't blow dry it, my hair would take forever to dry and become sticky till I wash it. If I dry it, it will be like the way I am without any styling.

You sound like a girl that would look good with curls.

You should do curls.

Ha, ha, ha. I know what you mean. I have to use a flat iron to make my hair perfectly straight. Straightening products just make my hair less tangled. My hair is super long and naturally wavy (in all the wrong spots of course).

They don't work for me either even though my hair is more wavy than frizzy. The only times it's super-straight is when I have it blow-dried by a hairdresser. They don't even use special products so it must be all down to technique.
