Is it normal this person(friend) stays my friend even though

This friend tells me every time we hang out I upset her in some way yet she continues to talk to me even if I treat her so badly.
(I don't really treat her badly, I just point things out and am kind of a critic)
But is this normal, to still be friends with someone after constant upsetting?

Normal. I have a friend that's a bit of a jackass, but I still love her in spite of it because she's my friend.

I have a friend who does this to me. Tbh though, I wouldn't change him one bit. He was an asshole from the beginning and (I'm guessing) an asshole to the end!

Really only women could get into such situations. I will probably never be more than a bedazzled and confused bystander to the complex multi-layered concept that is the friendship between women.
