they probably call you cute to be polite. if they really thought you were cute or attractive then you wouldnt keep staying in the friend zone with every chick. who knows, they might even think you are gay.
girls love confidence too. just be sure of yourself. maybe even get a new hair style or new clothes.

I think its normal. To each his own. I mean, Im a girl, and I am also 19, and have never had a boyfriend, and Im still a virgin. But that doesnt mean that Ive never had chances to be with people. And Im kind of in the same predicament as you. Guys tell me Im really pretty, but I just really wanna connect well with them on a deeper level. Deep inside I wanna find that "right" person. So I never go with just anybody. I have my standards. And Ive had situations where Ive liked someone, but they didnt like me the same way, so I fell into the friend category as well. I guess its just because Im the relationship type of girl, and a lot of guys my age arent looking for that, but just a one night stand.

Just be like most of the rest of us and lower your standards. That'll always help.

im 18 and ive had ten relationships with girls.

Everyone goes at their own pace. I am 24 years old and still no boyfriend. However, that was by choice. I am extremely ambitious and working on getting my Masters degree. I figured if I am not interested in marriage at this point in my life, then what's the rush?

Also, I have to agree with Ldizzy1234. Being the relationship type of girl, is difficult when most men are on the fast track and not looking to connect on a deeper level. I have made friends with men and watched them disappear only to find out they were trying to seduce me. That's how you weed out the bad ones. The ones who are unhealthy for your well-being.

dude that sucks...honestly just make your intentions clear. if you like a girl go for it. also, opposed to what Aussiewolf said they wouldn't bother to bring up your physical appearance if they didn't think you were actually cute. i haven't known a girl to go around calling people cute just to be nice.
