My nose is always plugged, so I mainly breath from my mouth. I think it's normal; for me anyway.

first check your nose breathing. all clear? then train yrself tape your mouth shut at night and at times during the day.
if the nose is the problem wash it out with the little pot thing first. its just a suggestion :)
