I've just recently come to the realization that I might have a problem when it comes to sleep. For the past couple years, I've been not wanting to go to sleep early or on time because I'm simply not "ready for it to be the next day yet" (which is the reason I give myself for not going to sleep). I get about 2-3 hours of sleep per night. Yes, I get extremely exhausted and during the day I'm constantly thinking about how badly I want to sleep, but when it comes nighttime, I won't let myself sleep because I feel like I'm wasting time. When I'm staying up, I don't do anything productive. I'm extremely bored and have nothing to do. I think I may have a fear of the advancement of time. Is it normal to not sleep because of this, even though I'm extremely tired and sleepy?
