Every now and then I'll check back on comments I've made, or come across them as I wander through the site and see that they have however many thumbs up.
About 50% of the time, maybe more, I have no idea why anyone would thumb them up. They're really boring and pointless.
Does anyone else feel like this?

*cough*
I'm just kidding, that was rude.
...no I'm not.
I barely thumbs something down, and when I do I comment to them explaining why I thumbsed them down or why I dissagree with them, I won't just thumbs down with no reason. I do that because I like to make people aware that I'm not being emotional over something which is why I thumbsed them down or up, that I have an actual good reason to, and if you have anything to say in which proves me wrong that will show my reasons for thumbing you up or down was a good call, then I will try to thumbs the comment on the different area I done previously.
Unfortunatly, the majority of people on here aren't like that. They think simply not liking something equals to it rightfully being given a thumbs down, even if the comment is logical, yet they just don't like it, not that they can counter it, they just don't like it.
I want to thumb your pointless comment up for no reason other than thumbing your pointless comment up.
To be honest, I don't care what my comments are voted at. I don't care if they're deleted because they're offensive. I only care if they've been deleted to manipulate the outcome of a poll. I find that very dubious and unhelpful.

When you see a good comment, give it a thumbs up!
