I dont mean like finding them attractive. I mean like wearing t shirts with their face on it and plastering tons of posters on their wall. Then claiming theyre going to marry that person. Full out WORSHIPPING them.

Most people admire someone, although not always a celebrity. Why not let them express that? If I found a t-shirt with someone I love on, then I would be extremely amused (if only because you'd never find the people I admire on a t-shirt).
Worship is too far, though.
I don't think there's anything wrong with it either. I am disabled (on the more severe end of the spectrum) It probably looks like I don't have a lot in my life.
A lot of my older male relatives think certain musicians are brilliant, and I grew up to love them all too. I'd sit listening, fascinated. When I’m in pain they've cheered me up, when I've seen them live they've brought me to tears, and I doubt there's anything they can't do. I take that back, there is one thing – that is “disappoint me”.
I will say though, I don't worship her by any means, but I still think Emma Watson is the most beautiful woman alive!
And no I don't worship her!
So do I. If the celebrity is sensible and you hang on their every word, it can make you more sensible yourself; friendships can be deeper because you've actually got something in common –- I've never met a fan of favourites of mine I didn't like. It can make you listen to music you wouldn't touch before.
How on Earth can it be putting celebrities over people who you love and who love you if your loved ones got you into them?
...then I can turn my fans into a crew of personal servants for minimal pay!
