"Despise"? Heh, for when simple "hate" just doesn't cut it.
I don't get why every single emotion always has to be at the extreme end of the scale. It's got so bad that we now have to prefix adjectives with "super" because they've run out of meaning.
Sorry, I'm not getting at you. I'm just ranting at the world.
I know I've said it once here before (and I don't like repeating myself), but I still think we're heading for a world where a doctor comes out to a hospital waiting room and tells anxious relatives, "I'm sorry to tell you this but he is super dead".
Right, but it's what most of the "mainstream" music is. Even metal bands are starting to sound the same. Almost all of them have the hard drums and loud guitars with screamo. Most of todays music is down the drain.
Yeah, I don't listen to mainstream anymore though. And never listened to metal, so I wouldn't know about that, lol. I like punk and alternative rock though, I listen to counrty, R&B (The good kind. Not that Chris Brown-like stuff), I love old school, oldies, Broadway...I listen to most stuff, but I hear what you're saying about mainstream. They pretty much butchered music.
Normal. Mainstream music is just too overplayed on the radio. There are a few mainstream songs & artists I like but that's it. I haven't listened to kpop, but I do love a European singer named Kerli. And some less popular bands/artists here in America.

Congratulations, dappled. This is a big day for us.
Thanks.
Also, you'd be surprised at how disappointing some of the acts are when performing live.
However, having said that, I have had a bit of an obsession with it myself.
