When I go to a theme park like knotts berry farm or six flags I get scared to ride the rollercoasters...not because of the height, the speed, or the high drops but because of my fear of the rollercoaster breaking down and crashing and dying. So is it normal to be scared of getting on a rollercoaster because I don't want to fall off and die?

Doesn't happen often. I'd be more afraid of a car crash than a rollercoaster crash. Rollercoaster crashes make the news and do you hear about them on a daily basis? Nope maybe once every other year, lol.

You are so lucky! I want to go on a roller coaster so bad! I've never had the chance. I've only recently gotten up the courage to ride the bigger rides at the fair, like the one called 'the fireball'. If you have the chance, try to conquer your fear. At least try it once; even if it's just for the sake of saying "I faced my fear head on and won!"
