well i don't think its normal...but i do it too
but not only when i get my hair cut also when the doctor is checking me or when i'm sitting in the chair with the dentist...its not normal xD no1 else i know does it but...it make's me feel, like i'm the one in controle...its weird but...

i do that too, it's kind of a way of relaxing and getting it over with, my hair is well some ppl call it scene hair even though i'm not emo or anything, but seriously it's totally normal.
