Are You Normal?

Curious how others might perceive your situation? Submit your story today and find out what others think...

Is it normal to constantly check your stories that you had written?

When I am bored of studying tax law...which seems to be all the time now, I tend to check to see if someone has commented on one of my comments or stories that I post here.

I am often disappointed and looking at the dates, I bet it will be about six months before I get some really good feedback, and that depresses me as I truly wish this site was more populated.

Also, I hope to read a comment from one of those few I respect and I haven't seen one yet. Does anyone else feel this way or is that normal?

I feel your pain Bud, I'm studying for a cardiology test in a couple hours!
Perhaps.

I enjoy reading and rereading my wit and wisdom here. It tends to give me a ego boost when I need it.

Sadly, much of my best stuff was lost in the big change here, but still...

Nothing wrong with checking up and enjoying your own posts. If you cannot appreciat yourself first, no one ever will.

I am the EXACT same way! :)
Thank you, it is nice to know that everyone and their dog does this too. I figured I wasn't crazy but wanted to know how far others take it when they check their stories.

Also, I would like to say thank you, I enjoy reading the comments that you write and I feel you are more intelligent and enjoyable to be around than a lot of idiots that roam these pages.

Once again, thank you.
Oh I just saw this! Thanks Bud, and likewise ;)
