I sometimes draw fake wounds and stitches on myself, on my arms, hands, fingers and belly mostly, to avoid actually cutting myself. It amuses me to see the red on my skin. I'm not actually cutting myself, so that' s okay, right?

That's fine, it is a technique that is taught to people that go into mental hospitals for self-mutilation. It is encouraged amongst people that consider self-mutilation.

Just be careful that the ink you are using is not toxic.

Be careful, because some of that ink is unhealthy for your skin I'm sure, but it's definitely better than cutting yourself... Maybe look up special paints or something that are made for skin?

Really?? You're concerned about the freakin' ink? How about "great idea, much better than actually injuring yourself"

I do that sometimes but i get so mad that i stab myself with the pen to see actuall blood..... but drawing them does kinda help with the urge to make myself bleed, i say its normal :)

What we used to do at school is squeeze on a squash ball until the veins stood up on our forearms and then draw over them with permanent markers. The solvents would get absorbed into our bloodstreams and we'd get a nice buzz.
