Is it normal to dream about cheating on your boyfriend?

I'm in a long distance relationship(which is going very well) and I keep dreaming about cheating on my boyfriend. I have no urge or want to actually cheat on him, but I keep dreaming about it.. and in my dreams it's always something that I really really want.

Take your dream as a message. Perhaps you subconsciously want to cheat on him or you're going to.

It's just a dream. I on the other hand, am currently single. So I spend time fantasizing about a fictional character from a TV cartoon show that I fell in love with.

So not a real boyfriend anyway. You can't cheat on someone you don't see.....infact how do you have sex in the first place?
