What is normal? Normal refers to a lack of significant deviation from THE AVERAGE. The phrase "not normal" is erroneously applied in a negative sense (asserting that someone or some situation is improper, sick, etc.)
The Oxford English Dictionary defines "normal" as "conforming to a standard". Another possible definition is that "a normal" is someone who conforms to the predominant behavior in a society. This can be for any number of reasons such as simple imitative behavior, deliberate or inconsistent acceptance of society's standards, fear of humiliation or rejection, etc.
Just because it's not accepted by the majority of society, does not make it wrong.
I am 31, There was a 19 year old friend living with me for a while who loved to be treated younger, and it never went beyond that. She couldn't keep a job, and she was a high school drop out. Eventually I convinced her to take her GED and soon some college while she was living with me, and eventually she moved out. I could NEVER date anyone like that, or even have sex with them.
