For any story I become a little apprehensive, like "fuck, I'm going to get blasted again". Usually people don't insult me here, and I generally don't care either way, but that's my first instinct.

Probably because you afraid of seeing answers that you don't want! Don't worry so much, you can choose to take the advice you receive or not to take it!

I don't write about relationships, but I know what you mean.

I'm the same! XD Ages back, I posted a really personal story because I was in a tight spot and I literally didn't check the red notifications until a day later because I was so nervous.
It's literally like: "Fuck, everyone's going to insult me in the comments because I suck and I sound like an ass in my story."
