I sometimes fly in dreams and then get out of control whilst flying. Kind of like " the greatest American hero ". Is this normal ??

Oh yes. I used to have flying dreams. Most of the time though I had to dodge telephone wires or the electrical wires. I could fly really fast! I would first run really fast, then take off soaring into the clouds.

Haha I take big low long jumps then swoop upwards. vertical like I am standing not horizontal like superman. :-).

yes, this has happened for me many times. it seems to occur more often in dreams in which i am running from someone or something chasing me. it seems i have to run real fast before i can start flying and soaring through the sky.
