i hate big dogs because their selfish and only want to be fed, and most dogs are a evil because they wanna hurt my small favorite cat sometimes so i feel the need to hate big dogs since they hate my cats so why should i like an animal that hates my favorite cat? and big dogs bark, poop everywear, make a mess, and bite people.
wen i was a child i used to get bullyed by a stupid big dog that my parents had and wen he got ran over i was happy. well he used to break my toys and chase me wen my parents wear not looking. i now think big dogs are ugly and selfish except the chihuahuas their cute and need protection.
I think it's something pretty personal and variable, so it can't really be labeled as normal or abnormal (I'm sure you're not the only one, though). But, I think you're a little hard on dogs and have a very biased, generalizing approach on them. You have had some unpleasant experiences with big dogs, I see, but is it really that large dogs are bad? I think in both the case of bullying you and bullying your cat, it's a matter of the capacity to frighten or harm. I think a chihuahua or a cat would mentally be just as inclined to be mean as a large dog, it's just that they can't do it as easily. Chihuahuas are often easily scared, so they might not be likely to actually try to bully you. Actually, I think they're about equal overall with other size dogs as far as friendliness or meanness. But cats can definitely try to push people and animals around. They will sit on a chair and refuse to move, and if you try to physically pick them up and move them, they will hiss and claw at you, drawing blood. Their intentions are in no way better than a dog. It's just that you don't really fear a cat could seriously injure or kill you (though I have seen people seriously F'd up by a terrible infection from cat scratches/bites). However, with animals that are smaller, cats carry a threat of injury or death. Like a dog will go after a cat, a cat will go after your pet bird or rodent, and I'd say it would do it more maliciously. For example, my dog likes to investigate new things and will try to go up and simply sniff a cat. The cat will be scared, but my dog isn't trying to hurt it. A cat, on the other hand, will go after a pet bird with the intention of either playing with it (in effect torturing it) or outright killing it. It will claw a smaller, weaker animal, seriously hurt it, and then bat it around across the floor as it is bleeding and dying. If your logic is to hate dogs because they want to hurt your cat, then I would have to hate cats because they would want to hurt my small animals. As for barking, biting, pooping, and making a mess - the only thing that you might be right on is the barking. Cats usually can't make as much noise as a dog. However, in my experience, a lot of dogs don't bark excessively and don't create a problem. When there is a loud one, it's very noticeable, which may make you hate all of them. But in fact, it's not that common when you consider how many people have dogs. There are always options, too, as long as the owner cares enough to take care of it (sometimes humans are the problem, not the pets). As for biting, I think cats as a whole are more likely to hurt everyone who comes near than dogs. This is particularly an issue because for some reason, many keep 'pet' cats even if you can't actually pet it. With a dog, if it attacked people as a cat did, it would probably be put down. Now with pooping, I think the likelihood of a mess is about equal. Both cats and dogs are usually fine with training to either go outside or in a litterbox, and there are some that have problems with it, but neither seems especially likely to crap all over. But, with a cat, the waste is known to have an awful smell that's hard to get rid of, which may completely ruin whatever it was on. I think cats are worse there. Also, if a dog goes to the bathroom in the wrong place, it's usually right on the floor in the middle of a room or hallway, where it's easy to notice and take care of. My friend had a malicious cat, one of the unpettable types, which specifically crapped on a poster she was making for school. Completely wrecked it. I myself have had a cat which seemed nice and personable most of the time, but would go into my closet and let go all over my shoes, purses, whatever. Terrible to clean, and you never want to use that stuff again. I can't say for certain that cats do this on purpose, it might mainly be the fact that a dog is less likely to be in a closet in the first place, but the result speaks for itself.
I know that there will always be dog lovers, dog haters, cat lovers and cat haters. But since you're asking about it, I'm hoping that maybe your mind is a little more open. I just wish people would stop condemning entire categories of animals because of personal preference.
