Lately, I don't like buying music online. I prefer to buy it in a CD format. I feel like the entire music experience is lost when you buy a mp3. When you buy a mp3, all you get is the song and a small cover picture. However, when you buy a CD you get to have the whole package. You can go to the store and psychically choose it and once you've bought it, you can tear off the plastic wrapping and stickers, see the CD and read the insert. You're also able to better appreciate the CD artwork. You can't enjoy any of this when you buy a mp3.
Sure, there are benefits to buying online like not having to deal with people or being able to buy one or two songs off an album as opposed to buying the whole thing if you hate the rest of the songs, but despite these "benefits" mp3 don't allow you to fully engage with the music.
I hope this makes sense... Is it normal?

If you don't like it, don't buy it. Support your local record store.
I downloaded some music (for pay) and it's loaded with some DRM bullshit, "You don't have permission to copy/burn/play on this device...bla bla bla". And now I can't even go anywhere near that site without some goddamn adware/spyware trying to sell me more shit in an obnoxious manner.
That's the first and last time. Those clowns can bite me. Between CDs and DVDs I've probably got 10 or 15 grand invested. I'd say maybe 1/4 of them don't work properly anymore. You look at a DVD funny and it's fucked.
No more. See you on the file sharing torrents!!!
Ps. I do download free mp3s (4 quik fix listenig) before buying the CDs
