it's normal to feel that way no matter what our parents do, all the crap they sometimes pull as their children they will always be that element in us that wants their approval. you don't choose your parents the best you can do is use that wanting his approval to your benefit & be 10x better than him. we are our parent's children but we are nothing like them, well most of us.

Normal hes your dad and you love him of course you want his approvsl.
