Is it normal to hate my name in emails?

I HATE seeing my name in my email.. When I log into my account, it pisses me off so badly when I see my name in an email from Formspring, or FaceBook, or DailyBooth, etc.. I usually have anyone who emails me call me something else.. I HATE my name in emails..

Do you mean your email address or your actual name? Either way, try changing it. I went with my Professional name so that's all that comes up. Before, my birth name would come up and it pissed me off so I changed it.

On all my accounts I always use my nickname. I just dnt like using so my whole name since its kind of ugly but I'm happier with my short nickname(: I think its normal(:

Ugh. I hate my name anywhere. I understand you completely. I have a hard time signing birthday cards and everything because I hate my name and I don't know which nickname to use and whether or not I'll be ridiculed for using the nickname.
