They are not better than you or anybody no matter what they think about themselves or what other people think of them.

I don't think they should be judged so harshly even if it seems like "all" of them judge you or other less fortunate people. There may also be a chance that a few of those rich kids probably don't like being around that type of people and would be more happier living a normal life like you and me

to be honest anyonw acting like your superioir like that is so low down even cocroaches would bend over to spit on them, its probably not that their white, but that they arrogance and over-self-confidence agravates you.

Dont hate aspire to be better than them attain your happiness they are no better they have different problems that to them are hard..i dont like them neither but this is the world we are living in.If more minorities would try harder they could change things instead of blaming rich people for there misfortune..Work harder and better than them be smart..

Dude im sick of her too! I went to the store today and I saw fruit roll ups and right next to them were "hanna's rockin rollups" or something like that. And this was a store that never get new products because its wholesale. I wanted to gash my eyes out.

Remember that, to a certain extent, a life of privilege is a handicap. Those born into the elite class never have to struggle or strive, never have to feel the pain of hunger and therefore never have to learn to build the character to overcome it. A certain amount of resentment of such people, especially those who perceive themselves to be better than others because of their birthright is normal. In fact, it is normal to hate these people. However, it is far better to rise above them. Go ahead and be abnormal by seeing them for what they are, namely people who are flush with cash and destitute in spirit.

Anybody who laughs at the misfortunes of others is not a happy person. They are insecure, so just ignore them

I'm white, and I hate rich people, too. Black, white or plaid. So I guess it must be pretty normal.

As matter of fact, now that you mention it, I hate the whole concept of money. I hate the fact that I have to have some to eat or sleep out of the rain. I hate the fact that I have to waste my one and only life performing some stupid task just to get some.

The problem seems to be that all you bastards out there are just too selfish to feed and clothe me unless I pay for it.

I don't think it is just white people but any person of color can have money and be jerks. I have seen blacks/Indonesian/Pakistani lots of different races who act horribly because they have money. I just try to be thankful for what I have and no that someday they will pay for how they treat people.

You are not racist, you are just judging by what you have been exposed to through life experiences.
If someone doesn't grow up with blacks, he/she is tend to discriminate. I think you are used to seeing how "reality" is, and arrogant people in general get you pissed. It also has to do with race, but not all rich people are white and not all white people are such and stuck up.

You have access to the internet, food, shelter, clothes, EDUCATION. Don't start complaining about other people having more money than you.

There is no denying classism and racism. My impression is that many at your school have internalized it - as you say - that they feel inferior and hate rich whites.

It is clever of you to see through all this and to appreciate more universal values: such as the beauty and dignity of every person & culture. Self and community respect can mitigate actual and perceived racial and class privilege.

Is there anyway you can bring this to the schools attention to get them to build and promote more positive feelings within your school community about itself?

I hate classism and racism, but my mom has always told me to be proud that I'm an "upper middle class caucasian", which just makes my stomache curl cuz i dont think that it should matter, and its wron of her to try and thrust this idea on me- its 2009 now and all this stupid racism and classim is just a loada rubbish, people are people, no matter wat colour there skin is or how rich their families are, its peoples character that counts and any white rich person who looks down on anyone else should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

Pretty people make babies with other pretty people and have pretty babies. But often what people see as "pretty" is actually confidence, which many weathy people have, even though they might not be physically acttractive. Stress also makes someone less attractive, which many rich people do not have. But remember, people hate in others what they hate in themselves.

You're political so you need to study how to express yourself in English or whatever language, but clearly. Jealousy and hatred and fear are normal in any person, any race. Problem is if we start identifying them as being okay at a forum like this or wherever. We need to know one time that our hatred doesn't help us but eats us, not them. Meanwhile the rich life looks better than ours -- we think they have choice and we don't -- but there is so much they cannot choose, because of a kind of stupidity that often goes with wealth (laughing at the ghetto, as you say -- which doesn't even get to 'stupid' on the scale)or because their wealth excludes them from feeling their 'soul' (hence white 'trustafarian' syndrome) The cliché 'the best things in life are free' is in fact completely true -- I know for sure. Lol... Anyone can become rich it's really not that dificult. The most inteligent people generally are not multi-millionaires they live more modest lives. The people you are refering to however are just stuck up, emotionally dead, shallow, sheep-like, morons. They're in no way better than you although they may try to make themselves percieved as such even though they truly live in constant misery.
Never look up to them you have to keep in mind that its all just a simple illusion they try so very hard to keep up.

There are all kinds of rich people. Some of them are rich, some wealthy. Some can afford a big house, nice clothes and a new car, and they can eat out every night. Others can buy those people with the change in their pocket. Some rich people are snobs and some aren't. Maybe you'll become rich or even wealthy yourself if that's what you want. Just remember that everything that glitters isn't really gold. If you think those smug rich kids have 'everything,' think again. They've got their own problems that probably suck worse than yours. Just 'stay in your own yard.' As Jonny Lang sang: 'instead of trying to be what you're not, you better make the most of what you've got...'

Its probably normal to dislike people who look down on you and treat you bad. But to generalize that all white people who are rich will do this is a stereotype.

You need to allow room to think that some rich people who are white will be nice and kind, and that people like that do exist.

Also, there is the thought that you want people to treat you kind, so you might want to treat others kind too. Or at least make an effort to be kind, or not act evil and hateful just becaue they do. You can be better than them and you can act better too.

Having pride or self-esteem in yourself might help make you immune to the negative opinions people from all walks of life will have toward you at one time or another.
