Just curious. My husband's personal style is very casual and conservative all the way around- slacks and a polo, sneakers, Army hair, no tattoos, no piercings. He might wear shorts if it's hot or a pullover if it's cold, but that's about it-- and all in very tame colors. I have neon hair that I change all the time, tattoos, piercings, and wear all sorts of crazy stuff, really whatever captures my fancy at the moment. We make quite the odd couple sometimes, and people are often surprised that we're together, let alone married. Just wondering if others have this same sort of thing going on, and if you do, are you both comfortable with it? Sometimes I think he wishes I dressed more conservatively, just like I sometimes wish he'd try something a little different now and then.

What really matters whether your attitudes are the same and whether you have the same principles. Clothes and hair color don't mean anything. If you are good together and love and respect each other, I don't think it matters at all if you have different styles.

Aha by boyfriend is very stylish, and just very diffrent from me, he goes out socializing. If we were in high school I think he'd be with the more "popular" kida, while I'd be with the nerdy otaku just gererally "weird" people.

People often ask what we're doing together.

It's great.

My ex was a mini-Goth and I wear a business suit. We got some strange looks. I think most people thought I was arresting her.

Opposites attract. Proven study. Extroverted, more outgoing match up with introverted. Like yin and yang
