Every single morning when I wake up, I have super puffy eyes that make me look like a baby rat (yes, go on and laugh). I'm a guy and I have 7 1/2 hours of sleep on average.

a baby rat? if that is an accurately descriptive term, man that just sucks. I mean that really sucks.

Really sounds like sinuses, maybe allergies. Also, check that you're getting enough vitamins in your diet. I think vitamin D helps with puffy eyes. Also, your *quality* of sleep may be poor if you're getting enough time, so try turning off the tv or moving your hours earlier (9pm instead of 10pm).

Use a hot, wet washcloth on the bags in the morning, it helps circulation. Worse comes to worse, some makeup companies sell caffeine rollers & topicals specifically for eye puffiness... No they aren't actual makeup, closer to moisturizers.

I have puffy eyes when I haven't slept enough, or if I've slept on my side and 'squashed' for a lack of a better term, one eye causing it to go puffy. >__<

^^ like above poster said, get a hot towel and lie it over your eyes for 5 minutes and the puffiness should go down

Yes, it is normal. Sometimes it's just down to genetics.
