Hi!
Basically, my sister's fourteen (literally turned 14 about an hour ago!) and she's stressing like never before.
Okay, she keeps having same-sex, girl-on-girl fantasies and getting turned on. My mum used to do this, so she's not quite as worried about that, but she actually has a sexual (and emotional) crush on another girl. Woman, actually. With kids, husband...and she doesn't even know her that well (my mum never had a same-sex crush). She has butterflies in her stomach when she thinks of her (although that may be because she's worried about it, because she's not having the butterflies anymore -at the moment, anyway).
She's always fancied boys and still does, but this is freaking her out. She has no problem with bi people or anything, but - she just doesn't want to actually BE bisexual. She just...she hates the idea. Please don't give her a lecture about accepting herself or anything, she knows all that already.
Anyway. Anyway. Anyway.
Could you just answer these questions please?
She needs answers from straight people only (not homophobic, but needs the advice from straight people).
1. Have you ever fancied another woman, like a proper crush - the kind you'd get with a boy?
2. Have you ever had lesbian fantasies and been turned on by them?
3. Worried that you were bi?
4. Worried that you were a lesbian?k
Also....this guy from TV who she fancies is gay and he wears girly make up...she fancied him first when he looked straight, but she still has a crush on him now - does this mean she is bi?
Apparently her hormones are all over the place right now - my mum reckons that having crushes on girls and boys is normal. My mum doesn't think she's bisexual :). She just wanted to check, I guess. She has no friends.
So. Your answers? Sorry for the long rant!
If you think it's weird me using the site for her, it's just that she knows I use it (I'm 24) so I represented her. She really needs the advice.
Thanks so much

It's normal, raging hormones and all that. I went through the same thing when I was 16. It was only one girl, though. I detested the thought of being bisexual, though I have no problem with gays. I just felt like being sexually attracted to both genders would create more complications in my life than I needed. However, I did experiment with the girl I developed a crush on, and I enjoyed it. But I ended up coming to the conclusion that I only liked guys, and that was the end of it.

Ultimately it doesn't matter because my disability makes anything like that near impossible.
Most of said crushes were musicians so I couldn’t and wouldn’t act on them. I still have one every few years. One is ongoing. I do wonder if I would have had them were they not famous –- it probably just tipped over into that because I thought they were so good and played their stuff a lot, as I do when I really like a band.
Every time I play something with a female singer I get “[my name] loves [her name]!” Maybe that's true, but I’ve got bigger problems.
