I get sleep paralysis once in a while, normally only 1-4 times a year. Last night, however, was one of the worst nights I've ever come across, as far as getting to sleep.
EVERY TIME I almost fell asleep, I'd awaken and then go through the whole SP ordeal.
I won't be able to move, breathe, talk, scream, and so on. I'd feel the pressure on my chest, the hands around my throat, have the utmost terrifying hallucinations, and feel like I'm going to die. I saw a dark cloaked figure once, an old lady another time, a clown, a dog...
And each time I woke up, I jolted up with tears in my eyes, screaming, crying, and gasping for air.
This continued on many times last night, and my partner says that only about 3 hours of total sleep was accomplished. I don't even feel drained today. I'm just really dreading going back to sleep later on tonight.
Anyone ever have multiple/continuous SP throughout a night?
Any interesting stories?
Also, what are your thoughts - medical/scientific, or paranormal/extra-terrestrial/spiritual?
THANKS!

For me I think it happens when I'm really stressed out, especially if I fall asleep on my back.
My partner had no idea wtf was going on, LOL.
There was a line on his back or arm and he thought something had scratched him. XD
So what are your thoughts about sleep paralysis? Do you think it's just medical/scientific?
What about you?
People who are under stress are vulnerable and maybe that gives (evil) spirits the incentive to attack people or it draws them to those people.
I think it could be both.
but seriously that's kind of creepy. There must have been a handful of people there, they all said you did that? XD
I never went back to church after that.
It's probably caused by stress. That's all I can say about it. Don't really know what do to about it apart from... not being stressed.
What have you learned about SP and sexual orientation?
