Sometimes, when i get some great weed, after i get high and then try to go to sleep, it is almost impossible for me to get to sleep because i hear a really high pitch ringing in my ears, but it only happens when i lay down to go to sleep. If i get up and do something, it goes away. IIN?

normal, i always hear that stupid high pitch and i think for you, you hear it after you get high and lay down because your hearing is supersensitive because your high, notice how music and other things sound better or enhanced? anyway some believe you hear that because its the little hairs in your ears that are moving because you were listening to loud things earlier and when its silent they move. idk eitherway its normal but i hear you can get it checked out and fixed if it really is an annoyance

None of these responses are telling you why this is happening. I can tell you exactly why. When smoking weed, your blood pressure is likely to rise. The higher blood pressure can cause tinnitus which is basically as you describe it, ringing in your ears. If you become anxious about this, which it is very easy to become anxious with weed, especially indica heavy, your bp will only raise higher and make these effects worse. I suggest you quit for awhile, get in a little better shape, then proceed to smoke, sativa strains such as lemon diseel, strawberry cough and silver haze all work great for me and I have had the same issue you have had. good luck!
